Facebook Crashed Twice, Do You Have a Plan B for Your Marketing?

Last week Facebook crashed twice, and sent many Internet Marketers into a frenzy! I mean folks were really panicking and thought their businesses were ruined because Facebook was down. To some people Facebook is their only form of Internet Marketing when it shouldn’t be.

With the explosion of social media and the every changing tools and tips and training for Internet Marketing, it would be almost insane for you to have Facebook as your only plan Internet Marketing.

Here are some other techniques and social media sites you can implement into your Internet Marketing:

1. Use Twitter – For some it takes a while to get the hang of Twitter (myself included) but once you do, watch out! You can do so many things with Twitter, like run a contest, instantly communicate with those that are talking about your product, and so much more. And best of all Twitter.com doesn’t have strict rules, but that doesn’t mean go out and spam folks either, Twitter folks don’t like that.

2. Blogging – Blogging is the central hub for your business, you can communicate with your prospects and customers. This is where you can stand out as a leader, people can see who you really are and not just judge you by your Facebook post.

3. Article Marketing – You are providing value, you are informing potential customers what your product(s) can do for them through writing an informative article.

4. Video Marketing – This is where you get to be you! You can brand yourself with videos, not your company! So get creative, don’t just stand up there with a stuffy suit on and talk. To get your customers attention, all you have is the first 15 seconds. Take notes from Jonathan Budd, he stands on his head and has a GONG in his videos, LOL. But seriously do something to stand out because it works.

So remember have a marketing strategy outside of Facebook, as the old saying goes, “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket”. Especially when it comes to Internet Marketing
